Due to the ongoing pandemic situation of Corona not only the physical life of people is affecting but also various exams and academic activities are getting affected too. Where on one hand the ISCE exams,2021 have been cancelled on the another hand ISC Exams have been postponed too.
Due to the rapid increase in COVID 19 cases, the government is taking a lot of difficult decisions to undergo the situation and to save as many lives as possible. Not only the government is taking measures for medicines but also taking steps in cancelling exams and making sure that necessary things could reach to everyone.
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education, ICSE Board exam 2021 cancelled and Indian School Certificate exam has been postponed and the decision on revised dates will be taken in June 2021. The board took the help of an open letter to clarify his stand on the decision taken and said, “Given the present worsening situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the CISCE has decided to cancel the ICSE (Class X) 2021 examination. The options given in the earlier circular dated 16th April 2021, now stand withdrawn. The safety and wellbeing of our students and teaching faculty is our topmost priority and of paramount interest”.
Not only the ISCE and ISC Exams but even the National Testing Agency (NTA) also have postponed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main.
Earlier, CISCE Board Exam 2021 for ICSE or Class 10 students were scheduled to begin on May 4 and end on June 7, while ISC or Class 12 exam were scheduled to start on April 8 and end on June 18, 2021.
Along with ISCE and ISC boards, various other state boards and CBSE board also have taken the decision to cancel and postpone the exams for the safety and better health of students. States including Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan have even closed down schools and colleges just for the sake of students.
The decision of cancellation of exams may sound a rejoicing and relieving to the students but the conditions under which such decisions have been taken into consideration is not at all good for anyone.
