According to Adam Shefter, Curtis Samuel joins the Washington Football Team on a three year contract.
Samuel played for four years with the Carolina Panthers. After joining hands with NFL Free Agency, according to reports Cincinnati Bengals should have added a strong pass-catcher for Jow Borrow to play with. However, the team made an offer to Kenny Golladay, the former receiver of Detroit Lions pro bowl. But, the Bengals will have to look elsewhere as the New York Giants are their favorite in the battle of football. Now with Curtis no more being an option, they will have to look elsewhere.
Samuel would have been an ideal target for the Bengals since he was not a pass-catching receiver. Curtis often gets important touches out of the backfield . Some people even call him an ‘offensive weapon’ on the field. In the last season, Curtis played a good game and caught 77 balls on 97 targets for 851 yards. It is a well-known fact that Curis was a star of Ohio State and people might think that he would be interested in signing a deal with one of the NFL’s two Ohio teams.
With Samuel off the board, the Bengals should not miss Golladay as there won’t be many options left after that.
The 24-year footballer plays as a wide receiver. He is from Brooklyn, New York and played for Ohio State University from 2014 to 2016. He also won the CFP national championship in 2015.
